🐾❤️ The joy on this student’s face says it all.
Because of the Braille Trail and Other Accessibility Tales grant, students with physical and visual challenges are gaining something every child deserves: the chance to play with their friends, not simply watch from the sidelines.
This new wheelchair-accessible swing is more than playground equipment. It is freedom. It is inclusion. It is the opportunity to laugh, soar, and make memories alongside classmates.
The grant, written by Lorin Roberts and Jenna Lemire, also includes tactile running paths for visually impaired students, accessible playground equipment, and an adjustable basketball goal so every child can run, spin, swing, and shoot hoops independently.
🐾 In Whitehouse ISD, we believe every student deserves to belong.
Thank you to our generous donors for helping turn this vision into reality. Because of your support, students are experiencing the simple but powerful joy of collaborative play.
