Whitehouse ISD Education Foundation

Whitehouse ISD Education Foundation Engaged Community, Inspired Educators & Exceptional Opportunities for Students Join with us today. You will make a difference with each dollar that is donated.

The Foundation understands that there are incredible teachers in the Whitehouse Independent School District who, each year, think of new and innovative ways to inspire and teach our children. Often times, though, those teachers are faced with the decision of either paying to implement those ideas out of their own pocket or foregoing implementation altogether. The Foundation recognizes that there a

re private individuals and businesses who want to see these great ideas put into action, and who are willing to contribute their monetary resources voluntarily to make it happen. Ultimately, these inspiring and innovative ideas will compete for funds raised by the Foundation. We are confident that--once put into action--the education of our kids will never be the same again. In short, the Foundation exists to be a bridge between the private and voluntary resource of our community and the direct needs of WISD classrooms.

🐾🤍 Wildcat Wednesday 🤍🐾

Because of the generosity of our donors, students across Whitehouse ISD have access to tools and resources that open doors to learning, belonging, and success.

Your support is the difference between simply attending school and truly being able to participate.

It means:
A blind student has access to reading materials in Braille.
A colorblind student can experience the full beauty of a rainbow.
A classroom is equipped so every student can engage and thrive.
Teachers can turn innovative ideas into life-changing opportunities.

Every dollar given to the Whitehouse Education Foundation helps create possibilities that extend far beyond the classroom. Your generosity ensures every student has the tools and support they need to learn, grow, and succeed.

Thank you for investing in our students and helping us make Whitehouse ISD a place where every child belongs.

🐾❤️ The joy on this student’s face says it all.

Because of the Braille Trail and Other Accessibility Tales grant, students with physical and visual challenges are gaining something every child deserves: the chance to play with their friends, not simply watch from the sidelines.

This new wheelchair-accessible swing is more than playground equipment. It is freedom. It is inclusion. It is the opportunity to laugh, soar, and make memories alongside classmates.

The grant, written by Lorin Roberts and Jenna Lemire, also includes tactile running paths for visually impaired students, accessible playground equipment, and an adjustable basketball goal so every child can run, spin, swing, and shoot hoops independently.

🐾 In Whitehouse ISD, we believe every student deserves to belong.

Thank you to our generous donors for helping turn this vision into reality. Because of your support, students are experiencing the simple but powerful joy of collaborative play.

Stories Under the Oak is officially open at Cain Elementary - Whitehouse ISD! 📚🌳

Funded through our Fall Grant Cycle, this beautiful Little Library project was brought to life through the vision of Ms. Rozell and a collaboration between students, campuses, and community support.

Whitehouse High School - Whitehouse ISD Makerspace students built and assembled the library boxes, while senior art students designed and painted them with creative literary-themed artwork. The boxes are now filled with children’s books for students and families to enjoy.

Nestled under one of Cain’s big shade trees, this space was created to encourage a love of reading and provide a welcoming place for our community to gather, explore, and share stories together. Best of all, the library will remain open throughout the summer to help keep young minds engaged.

Sometimes the most impactful ideas start with teachers who see a need and imagine what’s possible.

This new motor lab is a perfect example. Our teachers created a space where there wasn’t one before, expanding opportunities for students to begin their day with movement and giving them a chance to get their wiggles and energy out before heading into the classroom ready to focus and learn.

Teachers are already noticing a difference in students’ ability to regulate, engage, and be successful throughout the school day. While the lab was designed to support special education students, it is also available to other students, making it a meaningful resource for the entire campus.

We love seeing creative ideas turn into real impact for students!

Because of YOU, we not only reached our East Texas Giving Day goal, we surpassed it, raising a total of $17,191!

And our amazing community showed up in a big way, helping us win an East Texas Giving Day prize for having the most donors between 8–9 AM in the small nonprofit category! That early morning generosity speaks volumes about the heart of this community. ❤️

From small gifts to generous commitments, every single donation made an impact. We are so grateful for each and every one of you.

Thank you for believing in our mission and investing in the future of our students! 🐾
