I was able to find a foster home for 2 of the puppies, and 1 has an adoption opportunity! ❤️ Thank you to everyone stepping up to help.

That leaves 3 puppies who still urgently need a foster home or an adopter. They can go together or to separate homes. Even if you can take just ONE, you can help save a life! 🐾

‼️ I cannot tag them for rescue until I have confirmed placement for the remaining 3. Their deadline is Friday, and we are running out of time.

Mama Girl needs a safe, comfortable place indoors to have her puppies. We’re looking for a large indoor dog pen or portable dog run to set up her space while we find a foster home.

We also need these donated supplies:

🐾 A hard plastic kiddie pool to use as a birthing area

🚨 CODE RED — 6 PUPPIES NEED EMERGENCY FOSTERS OR ADOPTERS! 🚨

These six babies are only about 6 weeks old and are currently in Center, TX. They were found without their mama and could be put to sleep by Friday, October 16, if we don’t get them rescued in time. 💔

We need committed fosters to step up NOW so Second Chance Paws can tag them and get them to safety!

🏡 If you’re willing to foster, our plan is to get them on transport once they are tagged by a receiving rescue. They will need a safe, loving place to stay while we wait for that placement and a transport date.

I will keep whoever fosters them updated on their rescue tag, transport plans, and departure date as everything is confirmed. ❤️🐾

🚨 EMERGENCY FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED FOR COOPER 🚨

💛 Cooper is a Golden Lab, around 5 years old, who gets along with other dogs. He urgently needs a safe place to go!

Today, while I was at Smith County Animal Shelter discussing the code red dogs, a gentleman came in hoping to surrender Cooper. Because of where he lives, he was told he would need to go to Tyler Animal Shelter.

His family’s new landlord will not allow them to keep both of their dogs. His wife is due to have their baby any day, and they cannot afford to move. They want to keep their dogs, but they are facing a heartbreaking situation. 💔

We do not know how much time they have before they risk losing their housing or feel forced to take Cooper to Tyler Animal Shelter. We are afraid he could face euthanasia if he enters the shelter, and we want to help him before it reaches that point.

🏡 An emergency foster would give Cooper a safe place to stay while we work on finding him a forever home. An adopter would give him the fresh start he needs.

Chappa was picked up with Mama Girl and is now at Tyler Animal Shelter in Tyler, TX. The shelter has given me only 2–3 days to get him out before they put him to sleep. 💔

We urgently need someone to give Chappa a safe place to go!

⚠️ Chappa is not good with other animals and MUST be the ONLY pet in the home. No dogs, cats, or other animals.

🚨 EMERGENCY FOSTER NEEDED FOR PREGNANT MAMA GIRL! 🚨

Mama Girl first came to our rescue on October 1. Her owner wanted her back and did not want to surrender her at that time, so Mama Girl went home with her owner.

She has gotten out of her yard several times and recently escaped again. Tyler Animal Shelter found her roaming the neighborhood with a black and white male pit bull and picked them both up.

Her owner said she would come back. But that does not make it safe or okay for either dog to be roaming loose. It was the owner’s responsibility to figure out how to keep both dogs securely in the yard and prevent these repeated escapes. Mama Girl’s safety matters, especially with puppies on the way.

Her owner has now signed a surrender form. The shelter reached out to us asking for help taking Mama Girl so she would not be put to sleep. She is now coming into the care of Second Chance Paws Rescue. ❤️🐾

We urgently need a foster home where Mama Girl can safely have her puppies. She needs a quiet, secure place for herself and her babies.

⚠️ Her foster home MUST have NO other dogs and NO cats.

🐾❤️ MAMA & HER 8 PUPPIES ARE HERE! ❤️🐾

Mama and her eight babies finally arrived today! A huge thank-you to Amanda from Backwoods Barkers Rescue for bringing this sweet family to us. We appreciate you guys so much for helping us out! 🥰

A big shout-out to their foster parent for stepping up and caring for mama and all eight babies until they leave on transport! Taking in a family of nine is a big commitment, and we are so grateful you opened your home to them. ❤️🐾

We also have exciting news: Mama and all 8 puppies have been tagged for transport on October 24! They’ll be heading to another state to find their forever homes and live the lives they deserve. 🏡❤️

We’ve already taken them to the vet and started their shots and medical care. We have a $400 vet bill that needs to be paid. They must go back on October 23, and that visit will cost another $400.

🚨 We need help raising $800 to cover these two vet visits. They also need their health certificates ready before leaving on transport.

If anyone would be willing to donate, we would be so grateful! Every amount helps us care for this family and get them ready for their journey. 🐶💕
