Being called a child of God is more than a title—it changes who we are and how we live.

Scripture speaks of both being born of God and being adopted into His family. These are not competing ideas—they reveal the depth of God’s love and His purpose for us. Through Christ, we are not left outside looking in. We are invited into a relationship with our Father and called to grow into His likeness.

“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” ~ 1 John 3:2 KJV

Whether you spend today with family, in fellowship, in nature, or in quiet reflection, may your heart be renewed by God's presence and peace.

The early Church did not grow through comfort, popularity, or worldly power. It grew because faithful men and women were willing to stand boldly for the truth of God, even when the world pushed back against them.

The message of Acts is still relevant today. God calls His people to remain faithful, courageous, and grounded in His Word no matter the culture around them.

Today, we remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to this nation. Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free, and that true love is often shown through courage, duty, and selfless service.

As we honor their memory this Memorial Day, let us also thank God for the blessings we so often take for granted — faith, family, freedom, and the opportunity to live in peace.

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” ~ John 15:13 KJV

May we never forget those who gave everything for others.
