JUST A REMINDER!
The show for 2026 is coming up rapidly! June 06, 2026 with doors opening at 10:00am. The November show is confirmed for 11/07/26. As always, our featured guest Anacs Coin Grading will be in attendance as well as another community organization we have begun to partner with, Lehigh Valley Treasure Hunters Club! They will be answering questions and educating the participants on the art of metal detecting in the area!

I have been getting reports that our November show is listed as 11/14/26 or 11/21/26 on various sites. This is inaccurate! When asked what sites the information is on, I am told "I googled it" or "I asked Google AI." All shows on approved sites are listed correctly as 06/06 & 11/07. When I asked the same questions to Google about the November show, the answer came back (paraphrased) as "Based on historical data, the next November ABCC show will most likely be 11/14 or 11/21."

11/07/2026 is the correct date of our November 2026 show.

I have attempted to get clarification on a denied post in the group Support Northampton. None of the 3 Admins have responded and have denied 2 further posts requesting contact. Options for a direct message have also been blocked. I am posting here with a tag in the hope it garners a response. Not asking for public comment, a direct message would be fine.

Over our last two meetings we had a very good education session on TV and newsprint as well as online ads for rare mint error coins. Some touted with values exceeding $10 million. The member asked if these were a good investment when buying them online. What we showed was that websites like eBay and Etsy had vendors selling coins not worth much more than face value as rare mint errors. Examples I brought up were a 1957 wheatback with the most minor die crack on the reverse. Asking price was $2000. Another was a nickel showing an extreme die clash being listed as $10,000. The die clash on that nickel was the reverse visible on the head side perfectly shown and in the wrong die position. I want to f*** it was quite obvious that it was two nickels smashed with a hammer to transfer the tails onto the head's side. These are the items that people are unfortunately, being duped into purchasing and finding out the hard way what they're truly worth.
Now this PCGS example of a true mint error is gorgeous! If you really want to buy an error for your collection, always look for something that has been validated, encapsulated and recognized by the numismatic community.

So excited for this new addition to my collection! An original 1901 Queen Victoria Maundy Thursday coin set. Fully intact with original box. Unfortunately, the coins look like they were lightly polished or white many years ago. But to me, it is still a wonderful piece to have! A most sincere thank you to the individual who acquired it for me!!!
