Short and Sweet and so satisfying for JVCF to present grants to our area non-profits; $15,244 in grants were awarded to 14 area organizations for the benefit of our beautiful Jefferson Valley. JVCF helps make things happen, swimming pool improvements, a new digital LED sign for the school, radios for Search and Rescue , matching funds for a new public Transportation van, new carpet for the Museum and the Senior Center, medical lock box for JVEMS & rescue, improvements for the Community Center, dog east stations for the Chamber, and 2 new computers for the Library, the mystery grant to the PTSA.
Great celebration despite the unseasonably chilly weather.

Non-profits just by showing up you could be eligible win a $1,000 mystery grant at the JVCF Short and Sweet grant award event at Borden’s conference room Wednesday October 9th at 7:00 p.m. The Fall JVCF Grants will be awarded then and any non-profit who does not receive a grant can win the mystery grant for their organization. The JVCF Board held their annual tour of last year’s grants. Great projects have been accomplished with grant money from the Jefferson Valley Community Foundation. Yay for the Whitehall and the surrounding community.

Jefferson Valley Community Foundation is so proud to have been able to be a partner in the process of getting the Whitehall Public Transportation into their new Bus Barn🎈🎉. They are a great asset to this Community.

Whitehall Public Transportation has begun the moving process. Very exciting to see this project nearing completion. Thank you to the many community partners for helping to make it happen. Congratulations to Paula Hippert and her team and thank you for all your hard work as well!

What a fantastic turnout for our Short & Sweet Grant Awards event. Over 40 volunteers representing 20 of our local non-profits were present fo enjoy ice cream sundaes and 11 organizations received grants totaling $19,782 including our Mystery Grant winner Whitehall Garden Club. Thank you Chuck Buus from Barrick/GSM for presenting the $2,500 Barrick grant.
