Fosters Needed! 🆘

Every single day, dachshunds are surrendered to shelters and rescues. They are scared and sad. Some are sick. Some have been abused. Some have known only one home and have lost their beloved person because of illness or death. Some have never known a kind hand or loving heart. Every. Single. Day.

Every single day, a foster parent makes a difference in the life of dachshunds who have faced these challenges. Fosters open their homes and their hearts, providing safe havens for these dachshunds in need. They are the Heroes of Rescue.
GetALong Dachshund Rescue is seeking fosters. We have wonderful fosters. We need MORE. Without more, we cannot continue to bring dogs into our rescue, and sadly, without the ability to say yes to dogs in need, often the dog will die. Please don't let it be a dog we could have saved, a dog we turned away because we had no fosters.

Today we are asking you to join our Foster Team at GDR to make a difference and save a life. Fosters are especially needed in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Mississippi, and Texas, but we would love to help dachshunds all over the country. Don't hesitate to ask us questions. We LOVE to talk about dogs!

**Please note - all applicants must be at least 21 years old.
**We are unable to accept foster or adoption applicants who live in the states of Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, Massachusetts, or Rhode Island.
