Today, Productive Offenders of Society Foundation was proud to stand alongside our community in support of the A Million Steps to Mental Health Awareness Walk at Cedar Beach Park. 💚👣

Mental health affects individuals, families, and communities every single day. Events like this remind us how important it is to come together, support one another, and continue breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and recovery.

As an organization committed to helping justice-impacted individuals and those overcoming substance abuse, we understand the importance of healing, connection, and community support. Recovery and mental wellness go hand in hand.

Thank you WFMZ for helping shine a light on the importance of mental health awareness during Mental Health Awareness Month.

Our Executive Director, Paula Gonzalez, recently spoke with 69 News about the mission behind the Preventive Measures Foundation and the importance of normalizing conversations around mental wellness and support.

With just days left until our A Million Steps Walk for Mental Health Awareness on May 16, we invite our community to join us as we continue working to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and remind people they are not alone. The walk is free and open to the public.
