Backpack Assistance Program

09/11/2026

Backpack Assistance Program- we did it! We raised beyond our goal (double what were raised last year before match!) and are so thankful!

Founded on a simple belief: no school-aged kid in our community should go hungry.

Fueled by the belief that we can help.
Supported by a community that knows how to give when there’s a need.

Thank you to our supporters, our volunteers, and the Whitefish Community Foundation. Because of you, this program keeps going.

Let’s Feed Kids. That’s our rally cry — and exactly what we’re going to do. 🎒

10 Donors Needed! 🍎
We are only 10 donations away from our week 1 goal for the Great Fish Challenge.
Whitefish Community Foundation

Help us to make that goal by tonight THURSDAY and we get a chance to win funds for our program through showing how much we are loved by our supporters. Make your donation now and any amount counts!

A huge THANK YOU to the summer-camp group that volunteered with us this week! It is always so inspiring to see kids helping kids in their community. After we spent some time talking about food insecurity, and how their work will help their neighbors and classmates, they packed upwards of 500 kids snack bags that will be sent out with the North Valley Food Bank mobile food pantry!!!
They even had time for some art projects that you just might see in our pantry space soon :)

🍎Spotted BAP program coordinator Ryan today shopping for snacks for our weekend bags. (He didn’t do it alone!) We feel lucky to have incredible volunteers and generous donations. #
