Harvest Moon Fest is The Making Place's biggest event of the year, celebrating craft, creativity, and community while raising funds to support the workshops, social events, and tool library that make The Making Place so special.

Run Wild Family Field Day Check Presentation!

We planned a day full of family fun—field games, a firetruck, hot air balloon, food trucks, vendors, raffle baskets, live music, and more. Then Montana weather showed up with rain, wind, hail, snow, and graupel!

Despite the wild conditions, our amazing community showed up and made a difference. Thanks to your support, we were able to raise funds for Columbia Falls' two elementary schools and support our nonprofit friends that helped with the planning: Boys & Girls Club of Glacier Country, Land to Hand, and The Making Place.

Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, sponsored, and weathered the storm with us!

What can you expect at a Donation-Based Candlelit Yin Yoga Class?

This special evening brings together community, connection, and the spirit of giving. By joining, your donation will directly support the Park Side Charitable Foundation and the work they do to make a meaningful impact throughout our community.

🙋 What does “donation-based” mean?
Simply bring whatever amount you’d like to donate - $5, $10, or more. Every dollar from this class will go directly back into helping local nonprofits, families, and community initiatives through Park Side Charitable Foundation.

🕯️ What makes it a candlelit class?
The studio will be softly lit with candles to create a calming atmosphere. Participants will also have the option to use essential oils and enjoy a lavender eye pillow during Savasana for an even more relaxing experience.

🧘 What is Yin Yoga?
Yin Yoga is a slow, gentle practice with mostly seated poses held for longer periods of time. It’s designed to calm the nervous system, release tension, and create a sense of relaxation for the mind, body, and soul.
