Stumptown Art Studio Whitefish, Montana's Non-Profit Art Studio, est. 1995. Classes, pottery painting, clay studio & more! Open Everyday! No appointment necessary.

Walk in anytime to paint pottery, canvas painting or do glass fusing. Call ahead for larger groups, Birthday Parties, Field Trips. Rent the Studio after hours for private art parties. We are just about on full summer mode at the Studio and it’s been hustling and bustling with pottery painting, crafts, and lots of end of the school year field trips!

🍅 Design, shape and decorate a set of 8-10 markers using rolled out, or hand built clay. Personalize your set with a variety of stamps, texture tools and glaze colors.

For over 10 years now we host the 2nd Graders of Muldown Elementary for end-of-year crafts. Last year we started a new tradition for the kids, crafts are fun, but you know what’s better?! Painting Bulldogs!

We’re stoked to now make this annual field trip that much more special. Bulldogs for Bulldogs!

Here’s a little look at a few of the 135 Bulldogs that have been painted over the last week. So cool!

It’s tonight! Please join us at Stumptown Art Studio this 1st Thursday as we welcome our featured artist Kim Mullins. Kim’s work is a colorful, playful study of nature and wonder. We are so lucky to have her. Come join us to celebrate! Please note - while all other galleries open for 1st Thursday at 5 pm, Stumptown’s opening begins at 6 pm due to our studio hours.
PS - we heard a rumor there will be a nacho bar and sangria here this evening…but you’ll just have to come and find out 🎉

Oh my cuteness!

Last Sunday we had our Fused Glass Class: Plant Stake Critters, and they turned out so cool!

Everyone did an awesome job. Here are some after firing (Bee & Owl) and several before firing (snail, hedgehog and skunk).

So adorable! Next glass class is June 28th and we’re making Crackle Platters. Details coming soon!
