This summer, dozens of kids joined us at the Whitefish Legacy Center learning, exploring, getting their hands dirty, and building a connection to the community around them. That’s what we hope this place becomes: a gathering place for generations. A place to play, discover, learn, and make memories. Because a legacy isn’t what we build, it's what we inspire. ORIENTEERING
∙Saturday, September 12 from 10am-2pm/ Whitefish Legacy Center
∙Free for kids 12 & under
∙Grizzly Orienteering provides all levels of course difficulty from never-evers to experienced orienteers. Participants can start any time between 10am-1pm.

BEAR AWARE WALK
∙Wednesday, September 23 from 5-6:30pm/ Lion Mountain Trailhead
∙Free
∙Learn from People and Carnivores about bear behavior, habitat, safety, and practice discharging inert bear spray canisters.

FOREST BATHING
∙Tuesday, September 29 from 5-7:00pm/ Whitefish Legacy Center
∙Free
∙Join us for an evening exploration of forest bathing with Certified Forest Therapy Guide Sharon Stevens and open the door to the healing properties of nature.

MUSHROOM HUNT
∙Tuesday, October 13 from 5:30-7pm/ Woods Lake Trailhead
∙Free
∙Search for wild mushrooms and learn general classifications and identifying characteristics from Dale Johnson who has been exploring the woods for wild mushrooms for over 30 years.
