Glacier Bank Range Riders Stadium is going to miraculously host 89 nonprofit booths on Tuesday August 11 between 5-7:30pm! Enjoy free food and beverages while meeting all of the participating nonprofits, along with fun activities for the kids! They will raffle off five $1,000 grants to the participating nonprofits of your choice. Whitefish Community Foundation

GNC Middle School Adventure camp 2026 was a blast!! 🏔️🌊🛼🎿🏃‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️🙌🫶🏼

Have a young athlete who can’t stand still? It’s ok, our Executive Director, and most all of our Coaches, can’t either! We are here to get you outdoors and movin. If you missed summer GNC activities this year, remember us next year!

A record 180 runners registered this year for the 44th Annual Big Mountain Run! With 160 toeing the start line, the air was hot and dusty, but running to blue sky’s at the top made the effort worth it! Thank you to our wonderful volunteers and sponsors, who supported the athletes and created yet another epic award/raffle table! Winning King of the Mountain on the DannyOn reroute with East Rim add-on this year was visitor Michael Altenburg, in a time of 36:30. Even more impressive is that he had never been on course before! Coming in second was Ben Schleicher in 37:17, and Matthew Brewer in 38:17 for third. On the women’s side, Scarlet Kaplan took Queen of the Mountain in 41:06 with some speedy juniors chasing close behind. Kalispell’s Lauren Bissen came in second at 41:35, and Somer’s Hannah Bork in third with a time of 47:34. Our Top Dog was Dan Meigs and Ashe, who received a luxurious Tailwaggers gift basket. We had 21 athletes make the Birthday Club and earn one of Vonda Garcia’s amazing cupcakes! Congratulations to the Flathead Race Series runners, and good luck at race #3, Whitefish Trail Blazer (50k, 1/2, 10k, 5k, and Fun Run) ! Results on Competitive Timing

🏔️ Join us for the 44th Annual Big Mountain Run! 🏃

📅 Saturday, July 25
🕤 Race starts at 9:30 AM

Challenge yourself on a 3.9-mile climb up the Danny On Reroute (plus East Rim) with 2,000 feet of elevation gain. Every participant receives a FREE lift ticket back down the mountain!

All proceeds support Glacier Nordic Ski Team programs, helping kids get outside, train, and compete.

Registration prices increase on July 24, so sign up soon! Race day bib pickup will also be available starting at 7:30 AM. Must register online.
