WFB Public Education Foundation Whitefish Bay Public Education Foundation's mission is to enhance the quality of public education within Whitefish Bay through the use of private resources.

Funding Innovation

Since 1993, the Foundation has contributed over $1.3 million to the Whitefish Bay Public Schools for innovative programs such as
creating a flexible, high tech redesign of the Middle School Media Center
building a recording studio and providing keyboards for Music Departments
installing a 3D printer for the Art Departments
piloting voice enhancement devices for classroom teachers
providing cameras for live streaming of classes during virtual learning

Congratulations to the WFB Boys Tennis Team, our Wisconsin D1 State Champs!! They clinched the title with a 5-2 victory over No. 2 seed Middleton. That makes SIX State Titles for Whitefish Bay this year! It's good to be a Blue Duke!

Congratulations to Savhanna Gunville, recipient of the Education Foundation's "Whitefish Bay High School Class of 1962" scholarship. This scholarship honors a student with impressive strength of character and love for learning.

As a WFBHS student, Savhanna participated in Tower Times, Model UN, Volleyball, Music Club and several Band Committees. She is described as a dependable, adaptable and sincere person who is always "kind and generous to others."

The WFB Public Education Foundation was proud to award this scholarship to Savhanna! Congratulations!

Congratulations to Abigail Albrightson, Isabel Scott and Henry Copps, recipients of the WFB Public Education Foundationโ€™s 2026 student scholarships!

Abigail received the Advocates for Education Scholarship, which is awarded to a student who has meaningfully supported a student or group of students and consistently takes a positive stand to advocate for others. At WFBHS, Abigail participated in Theater, Tower Times, HOSA, Bay Gives Back, Sources of Strength and Big Buddy Little Buddy. Abigail is described as a mature, kind and honest student who inspires by example.

Isabel Scott and Henry Copps received the J. Harold Rose Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to two students based on their character, scholarship and school and community involvement. As a WFBHS student, Izzie participated in Culinary Club, Soccer, Track, Cross Country, Bay Gives Back, Blue Crew, Model UN and HOSA. She is described as patient, kind and hard-working person who โ€œdoes good for the sake of good, not for the accolades.โ€ As a WFBHS student, Henry participated in Volleyball, Basketball, Chess Club, Bay Gives Back, Earth Club and Big Buddy Little Buddy. Henry is described as an empathetic, optimistic and perseverant person who โ€œtreats everyone he meets with respect and compassion, always showing up with a smile.โ€

The WFB Public Education Foundation was proud to award these scholarships and happy to celebrate these outstanding students!

The WFB Public Education Foundation's Run The Bay was a success! Today's weather was perfect, the runners and walkers were energized and the community was so supportive! Thanks to all of our participants and volunteers. There are so many ways to help the Education Foundation support our schools.

Bay Ball was a rousing success, raising $114,000! These funds will support playground projects at Richards and Cumberland Elementary as well as the Middle School PTO and High School PA. The WFB Public Education Foundation is so thankful for your support and generosity!
