The Cape Fear Cruisers had an outstanding time at our annual picnic, commemorating '250 Years as a Nation & 20 Years as a Club.' The celebration featured a delicious spread of food, thanks to the generous contributions of all attendees to the potluck, fun games that took everyone on a trip down the iconic Route 66, which is also celebrating its 100th anniversary, and great music provided by our very own, DJ Dave. Thanks to our committee who planned and put this great event together - Susan Muldoon, Gary & Patty Quilliam, Scott & Rose Greathouse, Dave & Gail Lippincott and Vicki Heape. We are especially grateful to Ellen Dorsett, who kindly hosts our annual event every year. If you had fun, you won! - With the special fellowship and all the laughs we had today, we are ALL winners! Cape Fear Cruisers.

All winners are congratulated, with special recognition to our Cape Fear Cruisers members who won trophies and certificates at the Bolivia Fire Department Car Show. Our club made a notable impression with 16 of the 51 participating cars, which led to us claiming the Participation Award. The list of winners includes: *Dennis Faver - Top 10 & Best GM Chevy, *Kenny Doak - Top 10 & Best Mopar, and the Top 10 winners Lenny Winters, Mike Kelly, and Roger Albizu.
