It is a non-profit organization
supported by your donations. A volunteer Board of Directors is dedicated to maintaining the burial grounds of your loved ones.

Location: Old Stone Presbyterian Church, 644 Church St, Lewisburg, WV 24901

Morning Session (9:00 AM - 12:30 PM):

Learn Appalachian burial history and customs
Document cemeteries with digital apps
Prepare WV Cemetery Inventory forms
Gravestone conservation, cleaning, and iconography
Understand cemetery vegetation and significance

Lunch (12:30 PM - 1:30 PM): Lunch provided

Afternoon Fieldwork (1:30 PM - 5:30 PM):

Document graves at Lewisburg Cemetery using apps
Clean and repair gravestones with D2 Biological Cleaner
Hands-on learning to level, reset, and repair stones
Join us in preserving West Virginia's history!
