We had a great turnout Tues with some great donations of fish and fish salads from Miss Mary’s Seafood. It included Tuna, Sward fish, Cod, and Bronzini.
We thank them for supporting our community!

Our first day without our trusted leaders Roger and Sue Donaldson. We missed them today but, we promised to continue their 18 year mission of helping to address food insecurities in our neighborhood .
Julie did a great job figuring out our count using the “ Donaldson Factor”
Helping hands was also there today giving out household goods and toiletries. We also receive some much needed canned goods and non perishable items as stock is low at Healthy Harvest.
We had a beautiful day and fun was had by all.

A big thank you to Miss Mary’s Seafood for three BIG boxes of fish. Our clients were happy to get a turkey yesterday for Thanksgiving but seemed happier with the fish! Thank you Lisa and Tony for all the support.

Tuesday was a great day at the food pantry.
Miss Mary’s sent much loved fish again. The Souperchef, Adam Ginsberg sent quarts of his delicious soup and someone left us 6 cases of Ensure type drinks.
On top of that, we had a huge amount of fresh local corn gleaned from Healthy Harvest.
Plus enthusiastic volunteers.

Miss Mary’s donated food again this week to our clients. But they also gave our volunteers each a sample of their truly delicious seafood lasagna. Better than getting paid!

No body turned down crabs.

Yesterday was a good day at the food pantry. So much warmer. Also Miss Mary’s brought two boxes of great seafood. Beautiful swordfish steaks, lots of shrimp, mussel and clam dips and batches of smoked fish. Our clients love seafood.

Miss Mary’s came through again this week with about 30 packages of beautiful fish steaks. They are a blessing to White Stone.

Miss Mary’s brought more fresh fish today. A local community guy brought us a bushel of his beautiful tomatoes, someone stopped by and gave us one Hugh zucchini which a client took for zucchini bread. We got 66 dozen ears of corn that had just been gleaned locally. A good day with lots of healthy food but hot!

Very rainy yesterday at the food pantry but River Market sent two big sandwich trays with chips and pickles for the volunteers. And Dug In sent lots of fresh produce. Plus our clients were, as always, grateful, kind, sorry about the weather. So it was all worth getting wet!

Miss Mary’s comes through again for WSBC food pantry. About 7 dozen steamed hard crabs and 30 packages of fish. Hard crabs went first but fish all given away also in one day. Seafood in White Stone is great.
