The Friends of the Library Book Sale was a huge success, and it’s all thanks to the incredible Friends volunteers who set up, staffed, and cleaned up, as well as everyone who came out to shop. ❤️

The Friends of the Library are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports our library through fundraising and volunteering. Their hard work helps make so many of our programs and services possible.

Every Tuesday at 3 PM, our Homemade Happiness group gathers at the Library to craft, chat, and create together! Whether you're into knitting, crocheting, scrapbooking, cross-stitching, painting, jewelry-making, or any other creative hobby — you're welcome here 💛

A huge thank you to our amazing current participants for filling the room with inspiration and joy each week. We’d love to see new faces join the fun — bring your current project and let’s make something beautiful, together!

🎉🎃 We are thrilled to announce the winners of our 11th Annual Friends of the Library Storybook Pumpkin Contest! A huge thank you to our wonderful judges—Friend of the Library Judy Smith, City staff member Michael Hopping, and Mayor Faron Young—for the tough task of choosing just 11 winners from an incredible 54 entries, our highest turnout ever! 🏆

We also want to extend our gratitude to the Friends of the Library for providing the prizes and the pumpkins for this year’s contest. Your support makes events like this possible! 🌟

It has been wonderful to see all of the creativity and imagination displayed in all the pumpkin entries. The high level of artistry made the judging process a delightful challenge. Each entry brought a unique story to life, and we’re so grateful to everyone who participated!
