A lifetime of creativity is on display in a fascinating show at The Dalles Art Center. The work of ceramicist Chris Bolton is arranged chronologically and walks the viewer through fifty-five years of Bolton's extensive exploration of pottery making. Experimentation with different clay bodies, unique glazes, form and function provide an insight into the curious mind of an impassioned artist. As an ongoing student of the everything about ceramics, Bolton's work is a testament to the creative spirit.

With the unlikely name "Ice Cream for Crow", this carefully curated shop gets an A+ for the thoughtful renovation of a beautiful historic building. Is it New York? Is is LA? Is it Paris? No - it is Hood River. With the unlikely name "Ice Cream for Crow", a very cool new shop has opened on Oak St. in the lovely little town across the river. Filled with beautifully curated clothing - displayed by color - and select vintage furniture and rugs, this shop gets an A+ for thoughtful renovation of a beautiful, historical building and a relaxed, hipster vibe.
