Registration for the 2027 Dance Performance Assessment is now open as of 10/15/26!

This state-wide assessment program, modeled after the concert performance assessment used by music programs, is a chance for any South Carolina dance program to be evaluated by professional adjudicators and earn recognition for their achievements in dance. This year's event will occur on March 10 or March 11, 2026 at the Lexington 2 Performing Arts Center (schools will be scheduled on one of those two dates). Registration is $250 per group/piece. Updates for this year include:
updated rules and guidelines
option for a $30 discount for directors who volunteer on the other DPA date
clearer guidelines for submitting documents for registration
