Alcohol remains the most used drug among people under 21 in the United States. Across all age groups, Vermonters drink alcohol more frequently than the national average – 59% VT vs. 51% nationally – according to the 2024 National Survey on Drug Use and Health. Every community member can take action right now during Alcohol Awareness Month.
