**Retirement Lieutenant Keith Morse**

Lieutenant Keith Morse has just completed his final shift with the Hartford Fire Department. We recognize and thank him for 20 years of dedicated service, commitment, and leadership to this department and our community.
Although he has finished his last shift, Lt. Morse will always remain a member of Hartford’s public safety family.
Lieutenant Morse, congratulations on your retirement, and thank you for your two decades of honorable service.

Today, on Administrative Professionals Day, Hartford Career Firefighters would like to recognize and thank Michelle, our incredible Administrative Assistant.

Michelle is an integral part of our department and plays a vital role in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. From managing the details that keep us organized to supporting our members day in and day out, her dedication does not go unnoticed.

Today was all about giving back and spreading some holiday cheer! Members of the Hartford Career Firefighters along with Professional Fire Fighters of Hanover IAFF Local 3288 and Lebanon Permanent Firefighters Association, Local 3197 teamed up to shop for Toys for Tots, helping ensure kids in our communities have a brighter Christmas morning.

It’s always an honor to work alongside our brothers and sisters in the fire service for such a meaningful cause. A huge thank you goes out to Target for their support during this event.

Together, we’re proud to serve our communities both on and off duty.

A huge thank you to the Quechee Club for their generous donation of Thanksgiving dinners for our duty crew working the Thanksgiving Holiday! Your support means so much to us—especially during the holidays when many of our firefighters are away from their families to keep the community safe.

Today we remember our brother, Firefighter Wes Black.

Wes was more than a firefighter—he was a decorated U.S. Army veteran, a devoted husband, and a loving father. His strength, courage, and dedication to his family, his community, and his brothers and sisters in the fire service and military continue to inspire us every day.

Wes’s legacy lives on in the stories we share, the values we uphold, and the bonds we strengthen in his memory. He is deeply missed but never forgotten.

Rest easy, brother. We’ll take it from here.
