Quechee Games is an annual Scottish Festival in Vermont that recently celebrated its 50th year! Scottish Arts took over organizing and hosting the games after it was about to be dissolved several years ago.

Since then, we have been committed to ensuring that the traditions of one of the northeast's most authentic and beloved Scottish Festivals continue far into the future!

Quechee Games hosts a competitive Athletics competition, solo piping, drumming, and pipe band competitions, highland dance competitions, musical acts, sheepdog trials, and last year we were joined by 41 represented clans! We also host a variety of activities for kids to interact with and learn about Scottish culture and traditional arts.

With your support, we can continue to preserve these cornerstones of Scottish culture.

Come visit ScotlandShop tomorrow at the Games! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We're excited about the Quechee Scottish Games and Festival at the scenic Quechee Polo Field in Vermont on Saturday 23rd August!

Andrea from our Albany, NY store will be there with our tartan tent, swatch books full of over 500 Scottish and Irish tartans, samples of our clothing and accessories, and tape measures ready for any custom made, tailored garments.

This year it's the 50th Anniversary of the Games, with Clan MacGillivray the Honoured Clan for 2025. There will be activities for all the family, as well as sheepdog demonstrations, live music from Jamie Laval and The Rebel Collective, an instrument petting zoo (get up close and person with different Celtic folk instruments!), a Clan parade and kids' ceilidh. There's so much more, you won't want to miss it.

Tomorrow is the day! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 A few important notices before attending the games:

- BRING CASH! A couple of our vendors will not be able to accept card payments, and we will not have an ATM available on-site.
- Print or download your tickets to your phone! If you have pre-purchased tickets to the games, please have them ready to scan at the gate entrance. In case your phone carrier's service is spotty at the field, please have them downloaded and available offline to prevent the line at the entrance from growing too long.

As always, tickets will be available for purchase at the gate. We will be accepting both cash and card payments. But the fastest way to get in to the games is to buy your tickets online! https://quecheegames.org/tickets-and-registration

For the 50th year, we’re pulling out all the stops with the Quechee Games Ceilidh Band - a supergroup of the Northeast’s top Scottish session musicians, assembled just for the games! 🎶 Expect high-energy reels, driving jigs, and the kind of music that makes it impossible to sit still!

Our friends at The Rebel Collective will also be making their return!
