The First White Plains Basketball Ministry
The First White Plains Basketball Ministry is a part of the First White Plains SDA Church and the Basketball League is an integral part of the Northeastern Conference Youth Ministries.
FWP Sports Enrichment Camp was established August of 2015 with 10 kids. FWP Sports Enrichment Camp promotes physical, social, spiritual and psychological development through a variety of structured sport activities. FWP Sports Enrichment Camp aims to generate enthusiasm in sports for young children, which will lead to a lifelong involvement in physical activity and discipline.
Our goal is to make a difference in our community and create a positive environment for our children. We strive to make our camp accessible for all. The Sports Enrichment Camp has been in existence for 5 years. Within this time frame, our program has grown tremendously to, on average, 35 children and continues to expand. The camp takes place the last two weeks in August.
