We wanted to thank all of you who supported our 2025 Torch Run tee shirt and hat sales fundraising campaign. A total of $111,000 was raised in sales, for Special Olympics Maryland! County Torch Run!

Good evening everyone! Just wanted to share photos of this years 2026 Maryland Law Enforcement Torch Run tee shirt and hat. The shirt is heather burgundy in color. Our shirts and hats have been ordered and should be arriving in about 2 weeks or so. We will keep posted.

As of this past Saturday, and for the 5th consecutive year in a row, we have reached the $100,000 mark in sales of the 2025 Maryland Law Enforcement Torch Run tee shirts and hats here in Charles County, for Special Olympics Maryland! We are wrapping things up and will have final total soon. As always, thank you all for your generosity and amazing support! Charles County Torch Run!!

Good evening everyone,

We wanted to share some exciting news in regards to, Tim Gowen, a Special Olympics athlete here in Charles County. Tim was recently selected to represent team Special Olympics Maryland, at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games in Minnesota. Tim will be competing in bowling and is the oldest active athlete here in the state of Maryland, at the young age of 76. We are proud of you Tim!! This is who and what you’re supporting! ,

If anyone still needs to purchase a 2025 Maryland Torch Run tee shirt or hat, we will be at the La Plata Texas Roadhouse tomorrow evening from 4pm-10pm, for a Torch Run fundraiser.
