On October 18, FCWC Board member Steven Levy joined Senators Shelley Mayer and Pete Harckham for a picturesque hike through the stunning Ward Pound Ridge Reservation. We were thrilled to have our senators hosting this annual event which highlighted the 100th anniversary of the county’s largest park despite Senator Harckham being out due to illness this year. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the senators and the reservation for their involvement and support, and we encourage everyone to join in on this incredible annual event next year!

This past Thursday FCWC celebrated its 60th Anniversary at our Annual Meeting at beautiful Lasdon Park! We enjoyed a picnic-style dinner, a tropical courtyard tour and elected board members for the coming year. We also presented Green Seal Awards to Jan Fisher of Nonprofit Westchester and the Student Environmental Network Westchester Green County! 🌳🌿🌱
