Get your costumes ready! Our YMCA of Central & Northern Westchester Trunk or Treat is happening this Saturday! 🍬🚗

🎃 Coming to trick-or-treat? No RSVP is needed! Just show up in your favorite costume and get ready for some Halloween fun!

🍬 Want to help make the event extra special for our children? Candy donations are welcome at our YMCA program sites. You can also make a monetary donation by emailing Diane at [email protected].

🔤🔢 Learning Our Letter C & Number 3!

This week in our Early Learning Centers, our letter of the week was C and our number of the week was 3!

For the letter C, children worked on practice sheets where they pasted and colored pictures of things that begin with C, including a cake, carrot, cat and car. They also brought the letter to life in art by creating colorful caterpillars using construction paper circles! 🐛🎨

For the number 3, children practiced writing the word and tracing the number on a practice sheet, then used play dough to create the number 3. ✏️👐

Our children are learning their letters and numbers through hands-on activities that make learning fun, creative, and meaningful. 💙

🧲💙 Taking Our Love for Magnets Outside!

Our children took their love for magnets outside and discovered a whole new place to explore! They brought their colorful magnetic shapes to the playground and stuck them to the poles, creating their own colorful designs. 🧲🌈

What started as an interest in magnets became an opportunity to explore, experiment, and have fun in a different environment.

We love seeing children follow their curiosity and turn everyday moments into opportunities to learn, discover, and create! 💙

We’re getting ready for our YMCA of Central & Northern Westchester Trunk or Treat, and we’d love for your family to join us for an afternoon of Halloween fun! 🍬🚗

🎃 Families who are coming to Trunk or Treat do NOT need to RSVP! Just come dressed in your favorite costume and ready for some Halloween fun!
