🌧️💚 IMPORTANT GREENBURGH FARMERS MARKET UPDATE 💚🌧️

Due to the expected nor’easter and State of Emergency, the Greenburgh Farmers Market will be CLOSED tomorrow, Saturday, September 26, for the safety of our families, vendors, volunteers, staff, and community.

Please stay safe and use caution throughout the storm. 🙏🏽

But you know our mission doesn’t stop because the market is closed! ❤️ We remain committed to Feeding Families, Growing Our Community.

🥬🍅 POSSIBLE SUNDAY GRAB-AND-GO PRODUCE DISTRIBUTION! 🍎🌽

Weather permitting, we are hoping to hold a Grab-and-Go Produce Distribution on Sunday at our Farmers Market location. This will give families an opportunity to pick up fresh produce without holding our regular full market.

⚠️ PLEASE STAY POSTED!
We will make a final announcement based on the weather and conditions. Please do not come to the market on Sunday until we officially confirm that the Grab-and-Go distribution is taking place.

Thank you for understanding and for continuing to support the Greenburgh Farmers Market and Dare to Be Different Westchester.

💚 Everyone stay safe!

🦁💚 A BIG GREENBURGH FARMERS MARKET SHOUT-OUT TO OUR LIONS! 💚🦁

If you’ve visited the Greenburgh Farmers Market this season, chances are you’ve seen members of the New York Ann Sullivan–White Plains Lions Club hard at work!

You may see a Lion helping at our fresh vegetable stand, directing traffic, assisting families, working at one of our stations, or simply jumping in wherever help is needed. But one thing is certain — THEY SHOW UP! Week after week after week! 🙌🏽❤️

We want to give a huge THANK YOU to Lois Campbell for helping organize volunteers week after week. We are so grateful for the consistency, dedication, love, and support the Lions Club continues to give to our market and our community.

🦁 And then there is ONE very special Lion… 👀💚

We’re not going to say her name just yet. Wink, wink… shhh! 🤫 It’s a surprise!

But SHE knows who she is! ❤️ She has been there for us market after market, always willing to work, always ready to help, and consistently going above and beyond. She has truly been one of our BEST volunteers of the entire market season, and we thank God for her! 🙏🏽

We see you. We appreciate you. And although we’re keeping your name quiet for now, just know that your service has NOT gone unnoticed. 🥰

Our Greenburgh Farmers Market is about Feeding Families, Growing Our Community, and volunteers like our Lions help make that mission possible.

Thank you to the New York Ann Sullivan–White Plains Lions Club for showing us what service, commitment, and community look like in action. 🦁💚

“WE SERVE” — and you certainly do!
