This Past Sunday , our Founder and President didn’t just attend she took my seat at the table.

She had the honor of serving as a panelist at the Social Action Day hosted by Westchester People’s Action Coalition (WestPAC), featured in the fireside chat:

“From Hunger Relief to Economic Self-Sufficiency.”

She shared the stage with respected leaders in the food justice and agricultural space:
• Henry Corsun – Good Food Farmers Network
• Michelle Hughes – Glynwood Center for Regional Food and Farming
• Michael Capers – Sweet Freedom Farm
• Ruby Olisemeka – Free People’s Market
• Antonia Estela Perez – Herban Cura
Moderated by Jody Wright – Prout Alliance

Let me be clear
What we are building with the Greenburgh Farmers Market is not just being noticed…

It is being recognized as a model here is Westchester

While many are still talking about food insecurity,
we are actively creating solutions rooted in:

✔️ Access
✔️ Dignity
✔️ Sustainability
✔️ Economic empowerment

She walked into that room representing more than a market
She represented a movement, a system, and a vision that is reshaping what community impact looks like in real time.

This wasn’t just a panel.
This was confirmation.

Confirmation that the work is valid.
Confirmation that the work is necessary.
And most importantly
confirmation that the work is working.

We don’t just show up to be included.
We show up to shift the conversation.

And that’s exactly what happened.

Feeding Families, Growing Community.
