In the fall of 1997, Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University joined several law schools across the nation to heed the call of SEC Chairman Arthur Levitt to launch--for the first time ever--clinics, staffed primarily by law students, dedicated to providing free legal services to investors of modest means who seek remedies for investment harm.

Leading the initiative was Haub Law Professor Barbara Black (retired) who founded Haub Law's Fairbridge Investor Rights Clinic (formerly the Securities Arbitration Clinic) and Academic Dean and Professor Jill Gross who is a former Director of the Haub Law clinic.

On September 14th at 12:00 p.m. EDT Professors Black and Gross will join an esteemed virtual panel commemorating the 25th anniversary of the meaningful partnership between law students and investors. You can tune into this panel discussion here: https://fal.cn/3r6lL

Thank you to RealFi for its generous support of the work of the newly-named RealFi Investor Rights Clinic!

Haub Law has received a generous five-year grant to name its Investor Rights Clinic after RealFi Financial LLC, a leading, technology-driven, alternative investment management firm. The gift, inspired by RealFi's Founder and CEO John C. Lettera, a 1999 graduate and adjunct professor of the Law School, "will help the clinic continue to expand its important work to bring access to justice to small investors and provide our students with additional educational and advocacy opportunities.” https://fal.cn/3iWAn
