On this National Decision Day, the Alpha Xi chapter would like to congratulate our Chartering Sister Christina “Chrissy” Hernandez (Delta, SPR’98, #2), and her son, Antonio “Nino” Hernandez, for his commitment to Framingham State University on a football scholarship! 🏈🥳

Today marks a meaningful milestone for Chrissy, as she celebrates one of the greatest moments in parenting, helping her first-born get into college and begin the next chapter of their life. 🌎📖

We are so proud of you both, and we cannot wait to support Nino in his future endeavors! ✨

April calls us to hold space for something bigger than ourselves. As women, as sisters, as a community, Sexual Assault Awareness Month reminds us that awareness alone is not enough, it is about standing with survivors, challenging harmful narratives, and showing up in ways that protect and uplift one another.

Today, we wear denim in honor of Denim Day, a global movement that began after a court ruling wrongfully blamed a survivor’s jeans for her assault. Wearing denim is a visible act of protest against victim blaming and a commitment to shifting the culture.

Alpha Xi stands in solidarity with all survivors, today and always. We see you, we hear you, and we stand with you. 💙
