Foster Care Families Looking for Foster Care Families We welcome inquiries from adults of all backgrounds, ages, income levels, and marital status.

Westchester County DSS Foster Care

To a child in need stability is very important, but it’s the intangibles a foster family gives that really makes the difference in guiding them to a hopeful future. Foster parents don’t need to be perfect, but they are special, and we are searching for a select few who are willing to take the journey to becoming a certified foster home to help take care of some of Westchester’s most vulnerable children. There is a screening process, mandated requirements, and training provided. To learn more go to rebrand.ly/westchester-

You don’t need a spotless house.
You don’t need a perfect family.
You just need to care — and be willing to show up.
The truth is: foster kids don’t need perfect people.
They need real ones.
The kind who make pancakes for dinner sometimes.
The kind who listen, even when they don’t have all the answers.
