It took love, commitment, and a whole lotta patience, but Charlie and Benny (the cat in his foster to adopt home), have finally become buds! As most of you may remember, we rescued Charlie off the streets of White Plains where he was dumped last fall. He was the absolute SWEETEST cat!!!! But he had no idea how to behave around other cats and he came on quite strong …..like WWE status behavior! 😳 Fast forward a few months, and a woman fell head over heels in love with him and we really wanted to see what if he could integrate into her home with a large dog and cat. We knew it could take a while if it were to even work.

What seemed like it was never ever going to happen, finally did! After about 3 months of hissing, growling and chasing, Charlie finally came around. It’s like a lightbulb went off in his head, and he realized Benny the cat wasn’t there to hurt him, and just like that…they’re best buds!!!!! Here they are bird watching in the window❤️ Oh, and he’s perfect with the dog!

Needless to say, Charlie has been ADOPTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy your awesome new life dude! You SO deserve it! I’ll throw a big middle finger in the air to the human who tossed you out like you were nothing. You are everything and more, with an incredible amount of love to give. Your new family is SO very lucky!!! Happy days my love 🥰

Who remembers Miss Suzie Q!? her mom sent me pic this the other day with a little update. Suzie’s always been sweet and very shy girl. An awesome family fell in love with her years ago and decided to adopt her. They were willing to give her the time and patience that she needed to blossom. And that she did! The update that I had always hoped to get. Her mom said that she’ll meow nonstop to demand pets, despite her mom trying to get work done from home. She enjoys her nightly cuddle sessions during reading time with her mom and human brother. She’s become comfortable enough to show all of her personality and her family’s patience paid off in the best way. I’m so happy for this sweet girl who deserves the world, and I’m really really happy for her family who saw what I saw in her years ago. Lucky family and lucky Suzie Q!

Mama Charm has really come a long way and has settled in nicely at the rescue since I took her in a few years ago. She was trapped as a TNR by a rescue colleague from my job and brought in to be spayed one day in a trap. And oh my goodness this cat was SO pregnant!!! Poor girl looked like a bowling ball with little toothpick legs. She was ready to give birth at any moment. We alerted the rescuer and she didn’t have a place for Mama Charm to go other than back outside to have her babies. Ya’ll know I wasn’t going to let that happen. She was feral, but the nervous feral, not at all aggressive. I offered to take her into the rescue and allow her to have her babies in comfort and quiet. What do you know, Charm gave birth at my house the following day to four beautiful babies! All the babies found amazing homes, and Mama Charm showed content and happiness to the comforts of being indoors, and she stayed at the rescue. She’s opened up a bit, and I can get a quick tail pet or one back pet during feeding time, but other than that, she’s happy just being there with the other cats. She isn’t an adoptable cat, but she’ll get to spend her days safe, fed, and warm, enjoying catnip, cat beds, toys, and kitty friends for life. She seems happy and that makes me happy. 😊

Gave the crew some paper filler from the Chewy order and Mia went & ruined the fun when she decided it was shred worthy. Lucky you’re cute little girl!

Please share to help Loki find a situation that better fits his needs. Adult only household with low stress so that he can thrive. His parents love him endlessly and want to find a situation for him where he can live his best life. I know this decision for them has been anything but easy. Please share 🤍

We welcomed Kendall James Murray on March 9 💗 7 lbs 19 inches of absolute perfection. Madison is the proudest big sister and our hearts are so full!
