At Boys & Girls Clubs of Dumplin Valley, Academic Success and Mentoring are two things we value every day.

That’s why we provide our members with a dedicated time and space to complete homework, receive tutoring, ask questions, and build confidence in their learning. But some of our most meaningful moments happen when members help one another. 🤝

✨ Older members helping younger members is a win-win!

Younger members often feel more comfortable asking for help from an older Club member they look up to. At the same time, the older member gains confidence, strengthens their own skills, develops leadership, and learns an important lesson: success is even more meaningful when you help someone else succeed.

At the Club, we’re not just helping young people with their homework—we’re creating a culture where members learn from each other, lift each other up, and discover the power of giving back.

Because sometimes, the best mentor is someone who was sitting in that same chair not too long ago. 💙
