Gardner Dam Adventure Base A Bay-Lakes Council camp located in Wisconsin’s Northwoods on the banks of the Wolf River. Home to the Webelos summer resident camp program.

Also, specializing in high adventure activities. Gardner Dam Adventure Base offers you the opportunity to ENJOY THE ADVENTURE! Located on 325 acres of wooded forest in Langlade County near White Lake, Wisconsin, with the Wolf River running through the center! This camp offers the opportunity for camping and programming on two sides of the Wolf River. Two suspension bridges link our camp together!

Gardner Dam’s Webelos camping sessions run from early July through early August with sessions beginning either Monday or Friday and ending Thursday and Monday. The program offers campfires, climbing, shooting sports, aquatics, and plenty more activities. The emphasis is on bringing a fun program to Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts to prepare them for their future at Scouts BSA summer camp. Because of the unique terrain and the proximity to the Wolf River, area lakes, DNR trails, National Forest trails and other recreational areas, the opportunity to experience a variety of high adventure activities are right at our front door. Many Bay Lakes Council programs are designed to offer a progression of skills allowing you to use these resources for high ADVENTURE. A Scout could attend Gardner Dam Adventure Base and participate in a different group of activities for two years without repeating! Registered adults may take advantage of many of the activities along with a variety of training sessions offered daily. Our staff is filled with energy and knowledge to make sure that your stay at GDAB is one you will never forget. Come be a part of the excitement and fun that is Gardner Dam Adventure Base!

Have you taken the NEW Safeguarding Youth Training yet?

Make sure you've taken it before Sunday, May 31, 2026, as that is when Youth Protection Training EXPIRES!

Youth Protection Training (YPT) has been replaced by the new Safeguarding Youth Training (SYT). This training is required for all Scouting America registered volunteers and is a joining requirement.

Here are some updates regarding the new training:

➡️ The new 20-minute Safeguarding Youth (SYT) Refresher course is Live.

➡️ If you have not taken the NEW SYT full 90 Minute course, you must take that first before you can take the refresher to get full SYT credit.

➡️ If your SYT is expired for 7 days or more, you must take the full 90 minute course again.

➡️ If you fail the course quiz on the refresher course with less than an 80% on your first attempt, you will be directed back to the full 90 minute course.

➡️ The course is available in the Volunteer Learn Center in English and Spanish.

I just ordered a new rope for the Parade Ground flagpole. Is there anyone near camp that has a vehicle that could reach the 32 foot height to install when it comes in? This rope has a wire in so next time when the rope breaks it will not fall to the ground.
