Praise the Lord! We have the lifeguard spots filled! Thank you so much to all who helped with prayer and leads. Our campers will be happy to boat and swim!

Just under two weeks! We’re getting so excited! Many of our campers love the water. Please pray that they can go in or on the water again this year – we still need a lifeguard! Please share this and spread the word. Camp is at Pine Ridge Bible Camp and we need a lifeguard for 3 hours each morning, July 8-11.

Camp is 3 weeks away and we have all our staff… except a lifeguard. No lifeguard means no swimming or boating. For some campers, camp would not be complete without swimming and/or boating. Please pray that God would provide a lifeguard. If you know of a certified lifeguard, please let them know of our need or contact us as soon as possible. Camp is July 7-12 at Pine Ridge Bible Camp in Cedar Springs. Please pray for our committee as we continue to prepare for camp. We praise God for all the staff He has provided and for His guidance as we plan.

Camp will be here before we know it! It’s only a month away! We are busy getting ready and we have all our staff except 2 female counselors. Please pray that God will provide them soon and please spread the word to your friends, family, church, etc.

Astra was a counselor at Christian Horizons Camp for 8 years. She had a huge heart and a big impact on all who knew her. She loved the Lord and wanted everyone to know Him. Please pray for Astra’s family and friends as they adjust to life without her.

Praise the Lord! We will be having camp! We have found nurses to cover the whole week. Thank you so much for all your prayers and sharing! We also found our utility workers. So, now we need to finish all the preparation that got put on hold while we were looking for nurses. God is so good! (By the way, we believe that if we had to cancel He would still be good – He knows best. But, we’re really thankful and excited that He provided!)

Well, folks, the Christian Horizons Camp roller coaster ride is not over! Besides the out of state nurse situation, which has not changed, we now have partial coverage for the 2nd half of the week. We still need a nurse for Tuesday afternoon, July 23, through Thursday morning, July 25. You know the drill….please pray and share! For suggestions, questions or more information contact us. We do need to praise the Lord too – just today we got 3 more utility workers and possible a male counselor. God is working!

Update on Nurse!!!!! Please pray!!

There are issues with getting the proper paperwork because the latest nurse is from out of state. We are diligently working on it, but are not positive it will be resolved in time. So, we’re back to asking you to pray and share this need. We still have some feelers out from before and will pursue the leads we have, but if you know of anyone that could help, please contact them or us immediately! God is still in control. We still also need 1-2 utility workers. Keep praying!

VERY URGENT!!!!!

We now have a nurse for the first half of the week. We had one for the 2nd half, but she changed her mind. We now need a nurse from Tuesday afternoon, July 23, through Friday evening, July 26, or Saturday morning, July 27. We are willing to negotiate payment, if necessary. We are following every lead. Please pray and continue to share this need. We also still need at least 1 utility worker.
