On Monday evening, April 6th, 2026, join the Dickson County Historical & Genealogical Society for their April program as we explore the fascinating story of the Highland Summer Club Park in White Bluff, Tennessee, once a premier resort destination for the Nashville elite.
Established in 1902 by nine prominent Nashville businessman and railroad officials, the Club offered an escape from the heat, noise, and even the threat of typhoid fever in the city. For decades, visits to the Club filled the society pages of the regional newspapers, and it remained a cherished retreat until 1950. Today, remnants of this once-thriving resort can still be found.
