Two weeks ago today we had the absolute best morning with all of you!! We thank God for the beautiful weather, amidst the tenuous forecast, so glad our 13th year did not bring lightning! 😅 It was so great to see familiar faces and meet new ones! The outpouring of love and support really shines through each year! We had 29 Cranio Warriors this year, the most ever!! We always include Cranio Warrior AJ and Cranio Angel Brentley in our tally 💜 We had almost 150 participants total, and about 120 in-person participants who conquered our 5K with ease!

💜Amy Bell for always bringing the best cowbell around!! We gave her props in the welcome speech but she was already getting some steps in along the course so she would be ready to cheer you all on, and that she did!
💜Catalyst Covenant Church emailed us a few days before the race and asked if there was anything they could do or bring to our race, we jumped on the blessings that literally came straight from God and asked if they would be willing to bring bananas, which we all enjoyed post race, AND to top it off they wanted to stay and cheer for everyone at the finish line! I know you all appreciated the extra boost of confidence in that last stretch! 🙌🏻 While talking to these sweet servants, we found out they pick a Sunday each month to volunteer their time at a few different places, and they came across our race! Such sweet souls!
💜Our half-way table extraordinaires, Kari and Mike, who provide info to passerby’s, water for the thirsty, encouragement for the weary, and awesome photography!!
💜Vicki Buchite (Keegan’s grandma, Mimma, who also creates NEW Things) for making over 1800 ribbons for the Cranio Care Bears to make into prayer chains that will be sent around the world! Incredible!! And thanks to those of you who filled out your ribbon that will be added to one of these precious chains as well!🥰
💜Cheryl Tveit, RN at Gillette who is co-author of our Craniosynostosis book, who willing spoke during the speech ☺️, as well as stayed to help with book sales!! Dr. Barta was not able to make it this year, but her nurse also showed up to represent, thanks Ariat!
