BEAR'ly Open It’s not just golf…it’s golf on ice! Join us for a fantastically frozen good time benefiting the White Bear Area Food Shelf.

The annual ‘BEAR’ly Open Golf on Ice Event takes place the first weekend in February each year at Ramsey County Beach on beautiful White Bear Lake in Minnesota. To learn more about this annual event, visit our website: www.bearlyopen.org

The golf course replicates a realistic golf course, complete with real pine trees, challenging holes and actual greens with flags, make it a great way to have fu

n, get out of the house, and raise money for The White Bear Area Food Shelf. Golfers play with tennis balls and use golf clubs, hockey sticks, tennis rackets, Lacrosse sticks, Broomball sticks or anything else that can propel a tennis ball forward with a degree of accuracy. Golfers are encouraged to dress in costumes. An award is presented for the best group costume each year. The event, coordinated by White Bear Events and the White Bear Lake Rotary Club. Community businesses, organizations sponsor in one of several sponsorship opportunities, such as: Premier; Course; Video; Auction; Event; Hole Sponsors and more. Net proceeds from the tournament will go to the White Bear Area Food Shelf; where the need has never been greater!

For the 19th straight year, the BEAR’ly Open brought our community together — on the dance floor and out on the ice — to support the White Bear Area Food Shelf.

Thanks to our incredible sponsors, volunteers, partners, and participants, we raised nearly $60,000 for our neighbors in need. With the Food Shelf’s purchasing power, that equals $360,000 worth of food for local families.

Even more incredible? Over the years, the BEAR’ly Open has helped provide more than $3 MILLION worth of food to our community.
