⚠️Urgent Call to Prayer⚠️
This weekend we are partnering with 200+ Haitian churches/ministries in a unified call to prayer.
Will you join us in praying for Haiti?
Today, we are praying for peace in Haiti. We ask that the peace of Christ, which transcends all understanding, would transform every political office, institution, professional space, every family and individual.
Where there is anger and frustration, may the light of Christ clarify a path forward. Where there is corruption, may the conviction of the Holy Spirit and the courage to change take hold. And where violence seems like the only option, may the path of love be smooth, broad, and well-lit. We pray these things in the mighty name of Jesus.

⚠️Urgent Call to Prayer⚠️
This weekend we are partnering with 200+ Haitian churches/ministries in a unified call to prayer.
Will you join us in praying for Haiti?
Today, we are praying for the children of Haiti. We believe that all children are equally precious and full of potential in the eyes of God. And so we ask that every obstacle (including fear, abuse, malnutrition, and disease) be removed in the name of Jesus.
We ask, God, that you would raise up a generation in Haiti that expects and experiences every blessing you promise those who love you.
And finally, we ask that you would bring to mind ways each one of us can partner with you lifting up the children of Haiti.

⚠️Urgent Call to Prayer⚠️
Over the next three days we are partnering with 200+ Haitian churches/ministries in a unified call to prayer.
Will you join us in praying for Haiti?
Today, we are praying for an end to the kidnapping which has terrorized the people of Haiti. Almost two weeks ago, 17 missionaries (including 16 Americans) were kidnapped. We pray for their immediate release. We also pray for the 800 other victims of kidnapping through 2021 and pray, in the name of Jesus, that there would be an end to the terror.
We pray that the people of Haiti would once again be able to walk their streets, go to school, shop in their markets, and worship in their churches without fear of being abducted.

As tragedy once again turns the world’s eyes toward Haiti, we once again ask you to pray:
Pray for the immediate release of the 17 individuals who were kidnapped on Sunday afternoon.
Pray for the millions of Haitians who battle fear and anxiety everyday.
And pray that the watching world’s eyes would be led to also see the profound beauty of the land of high mountains, the “Pearl of the Antilles”.

"Haitians at the Border."

This is so heartbreaking on so many levels How do we solve this? To be honest, I really don't know. I do believe it's more complicated than we can imagine but here's what I know.

The primary lens by which I believe God has called us is to acknowledge that every human being is created in the image of God. Every human being. If we truly believe this, we won't and can't treat people like cattle - unintended or not. And secondly, as Christians, we are called to care for the vulnerable. It's hard to "see" the vulnerable if we simply view people as illegal or lawbreakers.

Before we get manipulated into a frenzy by media and social media. Either way. Both ways. Frenzy...which is why I've been pausing to ask myself:

Who is this man and that infant girl on his shoulders? Is it her father or perhaps older brother?

What is his name? What is her name? How old is she? What makes her smile and joyful?

What brings them to this point? What urgency or desperation would lead, say a father, to lead his baby girl on such a dangerous trek? Is it foolishness or courage? Is it love? Is it desperate and courageous love?

I try to ask myself these and other questions so that I can attempt to humanize them...lest I reduce them to just the current news cycle. Or just another issue. Or reduce them to mere political taking points. Or worse…just another post on social media.

When I pray and advocate, I don't just want to think nebulously of "Haitians at the Border." I want to pray for my neighbors - near and far - who are created in God's image that are vulnerable and seeking to pursue a better and safer life out of love and courage. I see and pray for this man and girl on his shoulders.

Lord, in your mercy.

In the wake of Saturday morning’s earthquake and Tropical Depression Grace unleashing heavy rains yesterday, the people of Haiti are reeling.
The past several months of tragedy and unrest have been challenging for our ministry. Our operating budget has taken a significant hit.
Nevertheless, as an organization whose mission it is to leverage resources to elevate and unify Haitian families, we are inviting you help us resource other organizations currently providing critical earthquake relief.
100% percent of funds donated to our Earthquake Relief Project will go directly to vetted, dynamic, and under-resourced organizations providing emergency aid throughout the southern peninsula of Haiti.
Any amount helps, but we’re specifically looking for:

➡️50 people to donate $1,000 or more

➡️25 people to donate $500 or more

➡️20 businesses/churches to donate $2,500

➡️100 people to donate $100
