🍪 FROM NURSING TO BAKING: THE STORY BEHIND BUTTER ME UP COOKIE & MORE 💛

Every small business has a story—and the story behind Butter Me Up Cookie & More is one of passion, creativity, and taking a leap toward something you love.

Owner Autumn Oliver started Butter Me Up Cookie as a way to combine her love of baking and creativity with her desire to bring joy to others.

After stepping away from her career in nursing, Autumn was able to pursue her passion for baking full-time. What began with a love for creating beautiful treats has grown into a thriving local business serving customers' birthdays, weddings, holidays, schools, fundraisers, and countless other special occasions.

Since opening in 2022, Butter Me Up Cookie & More has built a loyal following, surpassed 5,000 social media followers, created thousands of custom treats, and participated in local events and entrepreneurial opportunities—including the Show of Hands and Business Kickstart Competition in Marshall County.

And the name? It's pretty sweet too! 😉

The name Butter Me Up Cookie reflects one of the specialties Autumn is known for—delicious buttery cookies—but it also represents the feeling she wants every customer to have: celebrated, appreciated, and a little “buttered up” with something special.

We love discovering the stories behind the businesses that help make our area special.

We invite the community to line the route and welcome it home.
