What a blessing for our organization!

Because of all of the incredible local businesses who donated to our Chinese raffle, I was able to drop off a $715 check to Gabriel Project of Wheeling! ❤️

Thanks to your generosity, they’ll be able to purchase diapers, wipes, and other necessities for local babies and families in need. 🍼💕

If you or someone you know is in need of baby essentials, please go check them out! They do such amazing work right here in our community. ❤️

A huge thank you to every business that donated, everyone who purchased raffle tickets, and everyone who supported our event. This is what happens when a community comes together! 🥰

National Nonprofit Day

Today, on National Nonprofit Day, we celebrate the heart of what makes organizations like Gabriel Project of West Virginia possible—people who care and are willing to serve. 💙

As a nonprofit organization, we are grateful for the volunteers, churches, community partners, donors, and supporters who are helping babies have a healthy, safe start in life.

Gabriel Project of WV provides essential baby items such as diapers, wipes, formula, hygiene items, and other necessities to struggling families. Our sites are volunteer-run, and every donated item, financial gift, hour of volunteer time, and word of encouragement makes a difference.

National Nonprofit Day is a wonderful reminder that every bit helps. Thank you to everyone who has supported Gabriel Project of WV and helped us continue serving families throughout our communities. ❤️

🎆 Happy Independence Day from Gabriel Project of WV!

As we celebrate the Fourth of July, we wish you and your family a safe, fun, and joyful holiday filled with time spent with loved ones.

Please note that our offices and sites will be closed on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. We will resume our regular schedule on Monday.

😮 New car seat for $15! 💥

Our Wheeling site offers a convertible car seat for $15 to families with a child that is younger than 2 years old. The car seats are rear and front facing and designed to last several years as the child grows. Car seats are available for custodial parents/guardians only. One car seat per child.

📢 Gabriel Project of WV Guidelines 📢

To help us serve as many families as possible, we ask that all clients follow these simple guidelines:

✅ We help families with custody of the child. We are unable to assist parents with only visitation and/or seeking to regain custody of their child.
✅ Families with children ages 2 and younger are eligible for services.
✅ Pregnant women may begin receiving services from us when they are 4-5 weeks before their due date.
✅ Please visit only ONE Gabriel Project site. This helps ensure we have enough supplies to assist all families in need.
✅ We do NOT have income guidelines. We help families that meet the above criteria regardless of their income.

Our mission is to help babies have a healthy, safe start in life. Thank you for helping us make our resources available to as many children and caregivers as possible. ❤️

Need formula, but don't qualify for WIC? We’re here to help. ❤️

We offer baby formula at no cost for families in need, and we are also willing to order specialty formulas as needed whenever possible. We keep most the most common formulas in stock. If your baby requires a specific type of formula, please reach out to us and we will do our best to help.

Today we celebrate the strength, love, sacrifice, and compassion of mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures everywhere. Your care shapes families, communities, and future generations.

Did you know Mother’s Day has deep roots in West Virginia? The very first official Mother’s Day celebration was held in Grafton, WV in 1908, thanks to Anna Jarvis, who wanted to honor her mother’s dedication and love. ❤️

🌸 April Showers Continues! 🌸

Our April Showers for Healthy Babies is still underway, and we are continuing to collect baby hygiene items for families in need throughout our communities.

We are especially in need of:
🍼 Baby wash & shampoo
🧻 Wipes
🧼 Diaper cream

Every donation helps us keep our shelves stocked and ensures that we can provide these important items to the families we serve.

Donations can be dropped off during our open hours at any of our sites. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this post is another great way to support our mission!
