Congratulations to Veronica on an incredible performance at the American Grappling Federation Jiu Jitsu Tournament in Pittsburgh on Saturday!

Veronica earned second place in No Gi before winning the No Gi Challenger division. She then took first place in Gi, won the Gi Challenger division, and placed second in the Adult Gi Blue Belt division despite being only 15 years old.

The Challenger divisions combine competitors from every weight class, making both victories even more impressive. Veronica was also our only kid competing and earned the third place Kids Gi team trophy entirely by herself through her success across so many different divisions.

Outstanding work, Veronica!

Five free classes every week. Zero cost to the kids.

Through the Appalachia Martial Arts Foundation Inc. , we provide free martial arts instruction to local youth. These classes are taught by Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belts with competition experience in boxing, kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and MMA.

Our goal is simple: give every child the opportunity to learn, grow, build confidence, and be part of something positive regardless of their family’s financial situation.

The classes are free, but the program is not. Insurance, equipment, accounting, advertising, and youth events all come with costs.

If you’d like to help us keep these classes free for local youth, please consider making a donation. Every dollar helps and goes directly toward supporting the kids we serve.
