Genesis will be hosting a carnival themed Family Fun Day event! 🎪

There will be free grilled hotdogs and snacks accompanied with some sweet treat vendors that you may purchase from! 🤩

Entertainment will be provided by Zoo-to-You from Oglebay, a magic show, dance party, and other activities! 🎶

May is Mental Health Awareness Month! 💚💚

Over 1 billion individuals worldwide are affected by mental illness. This can range from anxiety to depression to others such as bipolar, schizophrenia. 🧠

If you need assistance navigating your mental health or are in a crisis, we offer a 24/7 number! We help youth and young adults who are experiencing a crisis ages from 0 to 21. 🧒

Today is World Mental Health Day! 🌎💚

"World Mental Health Day is an international day for global Mental health education, awareness, and advocacy against social stigma."

Here at Genesis Youth Crisis Center, we practice a wide variety of coping skills with our families and provide advocacy for their mental health! 🫶

September is Su***de Prevention Month!

Data:
- The number of su***de deaths in 2024 is projected to exceed 49,300, consistent with the rising trend observed in recent years.

- Teens and young adults (ages 10–34) are also highly impacted, with su***de remaining a leading cause of death for these groups.

Recognize the signs and be aware of underlying mental health and conditions.
