EP7 Youth Outreach-EthanPauley7

EP7 Youth Outreach-EthanPauley7 A faith-based 501(c)(3) human service organization providing bereavement and educational services to grieving families, and their communities.

We operate in Southern Ohio & the tristate area of WV & KY, and Eastern North Carolina. The organization will provide supports through, but not limited to the Graceful Healing Support Group, Camp E'nCOURAGE, SONShine and Graceful Healing Memory Boxes, Encouragement cards, community education on grief & the Ethan C. Pauley Memorial College & Trade Scholarships. While we will offer these supports as

coping skills for grief and trauma, our focus is to spread the message the only true hope in the most challenging times is the love of our Lord, and Savior Jesus Christ. Fundraising will generally be in the form of events for youth and their families, and will support the above listed items/activities, as well as the skilled trades scholarship, and the college scholarship (as needed). These events will also provide youth development, and leadership opportunities to serve in community service. The Ethan Pauley Memorial Scholarship Fund has been set up by the Pauley family in conjunction with Wheelersburg High School. You can make donations to the scholarship fund directly by making a check out and mailing to:
Wheelersburg High School

To the Dads We Miss Today…

Father’s Day can be especially difficult for those grieving the loss of a father, a child, or a father figure.

Today, we honor the dads who are no longer with us, the love they gave, and the memories that remain. We also hold space for those carrying grief today.

You are not alone.

💛 We see you.
💛 We honor your loss.
💛 We remember with you.

Hope. Healing. Community
At EP7 Youth Outreach, we believe no child or family should walk through grief alone.
Through programs such as Camp E’nCOURAGE, the Ethan C. Pauley Memorial Scholarship, our growing Grief Resource Library, and SONshine & Graceful Healing Boxes, we are committed to encouraging hope and healing after loss.
Grief can feel isolating, but healing happens when people feel seen, supported, and connected. Every conversation, every resource, every act of kindness reminds someone that they are not alone.
Thank you to everyone who supports our mission through prayers, volunteering, sharing our posts, and financial contributions. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of children, teens, and families navigating life's most difficult seasons.

Grief is not something you "get over" or "move on" from. It's something you learn to carry.
One of the things I often tell those I work with is that grief is not about "getting over" a loss or "moving on" from it. Instead, it is about learning how to “move forward” while carrying that grief with you.
Many people expect grief to follow a straight path, but the reality is much different. Grief can be unpredictable. Some days you may feel strong and hopeful, while other days a song, smell, memory, or date on the calendar can bring a wave of emotions you weren't expecting.
A few important things to remember:
✨ There is no timeline for grief.
✨ Grief looks different for everyone.
✨ Joy and grief can exist at the same time.
✨ Healing does not mean forgetting.
✨ You do not have to "move on" to move forward.
✨ It is okay to ask for support.
Whether you are grieving the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a dream, or a life change, your feelings are valid. Grief is a reflection of love, connection, and the significance of what was lost.
At EP7, we believe no one should have to walk through grief alone. Through support, education, and connection, we can help one another find hope while honoring those we love and miss.
“What we once enjoyed and deeply loved, we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes a part of us." — Helen Keller

Nick Sylvia, one of our 2026 Ethan C. Pauley Memorial Scholarship recipients, is attending Messiah University, where he will be entering his freshman year. He plans to major in Biology and pursue a career in the medical field.

Nick is also playing collegiate soccer and participating in the Honors Program.

This scholarship could not have been possible without the support of all those who have donated to the fund. You have helped us to positively impact the future of these students in their career goals. All in memory of our son, their classmate and friend.

We wish to wholeheartedly thank those who have contributed to this scholarship. You may still contribute to the scholarship and help our future high school graduates by making a donation to the EP7 Youth Outreach by sending a check to P.O. Box 214 Wheelersburg, OH 45694.

Congratulations to our beneficiaries of the 2026 Ethan C. Pauley Memorial Trade Scholarships!

Recipients of a $250 tool-specific trade scholarship are Mya Wolfe and Kayleigh Lore, both from Lucasville. Mya graduated from the Dental Assisting program, while Kayleigh graduated from the Criminal Justice program.

Mya plans to continue her education in the dental hygiene program at Indiana University, South Bend. While Kayleigh plans to further her education in criminal justice, majoring in English.

Our best wishes to these recipients and the entire SCCTC class of 2026 on their future endeavors. We look forward to seeing all they will achieve.

A special thanks to Nikki Hammond for her assistance in these scholarship applications and to our board member, Leah Howard, for handling these scholarship plaques.

Thanks to the EP7 scholarship committee for their valuable time put into the selection process. As always, it’s a very difficult job to choose between all the applicants and their amazing attributes.

We also wish to thank our donors, fundraiser sponsors, supporters, and volunteers. These scholarship funds could not be awarded without your help.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
At EP7, we recognize that remembrance and grief often walk hand in hand. Today, we hold space for the families, friends, and communities carrying the weight of loss while honoring the courage and service of those who gave everything.
May we never forget their sacrifice or the loved ones who continue to carry their memory forward. 🇺🇸

A reminder of what this weekend is all about. 🇺🇸Remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
