The Ironworkers International Association Apprenticeship Competition showcased some incredible talent, hard work, and dedication to the trade!

🥉 3rd Place — Canada 🇨🇦

Through the Alex George Scholarship, the winners will have their union dues paid! ❤️ What a meaningful way to honor Alex’s legacy while supporting the next generation of ironworkers and investing in their future.

We want to thank everyone who came out, showed their support, donated, and helped make this event possible. It means more than words can express to see so many people come together to continue to honor Alex. ❤️

Your love, kindness, generosity, and support during such a difficult time will never be forgotten. Alex’s memory lives on through every person who shows up, lends a helping hand, and keeps his name and legacy alive.

The Alex George Memorial Scholarship is about more than just a scholarship. It’s about keeping Alex’s memory alive by investing in the future of young people in our community.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of helping young men and women pursue their dreams—whether that means attending college, entering a trade, or joining a local trade union.
With more than $20,000 awarded in scholarships, Alex’s legacy continues to make a difference right here in our community. 🧡
We are incredibly proud of what this scholarship has been able to accomplish, and we can’t wait to see where the next generation takes it.
