I was a part of Key Club and Circle K and loved giving back to my community and making so many great friends along the way. After starting my full-time job as teacher, I missed the service projects and great experiences I had & knew it was time to join Kiwanis!

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒇𝒂𝒗𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝑲𝒊𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒔?
I have loved getting to know our new members and helping out with the Marian Park Christmas party for the past 2 years. It has been great to learn about our club's history and traditions as we continue to grow our membership.

𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐛𝐛𝐢𝐞𝐬/𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: Watching the Cubs, running & playing tennis

𝐅𝐮𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭: I love to travel with my friends! My most recent trip was to Zion National Park and the country club where High School Musical 2 was filmed (picture below)!

Below are several photos of one of our great new Wheaton Kiwanis members, Paul Berland, delivering Snack Packs to kids in need at a school in Warrenville. Our Kiwanians have previously delivered to other Schools in District 200 as well. This service was started by the Glen Ellyn Kiwanis Club and the Glen House Food Pantry. Snack Packs are delivered to hundreds of kids each week! This is just one of the activities in which the Wheaton Kiwanis are involved.

Here are a few pictures of the brunch the Wheaton Kiwanis provided to the kids cancer patients and their families! This event was at the Ronald McDonald House near Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital. Thank you to Paul, Micki, Lauren, Howard, and Reed (Drew and Taylor, also) for all your great work!!

The Wheaton Park District and the Kiwanis Club of Wheaton completed a successful Fish-O-Rama fo the 35th time! Kiwanian Lon DeLonjay and I handled the trophy and worm duties and anything else that was needed! Congratulations to all 420 plus kids who participated and those that won prizes and trophies. Great event again, Terra and Deb with the Park District!!

Fish-O-Rama for 2024 is in the books! This is put on by the Wheaton Park District and the Kiwanis Club of Wheaton, Illinois. We had about 422 participants! The Kiwanis Club of Wheaton(Reed) purchased the trophies and 1200 worms! If you enjoy this type of activity and might like to join the Wheaton Kiwanis, Call me(Reed Greenagel) at 630-715-7501! It’s great to be back in and around the community. Yesterday our club partnered up with the DuPage County Area Project ( DuCAP ) and Marian Park Management to host our annual Christmas party for the kiddos at the Marian Park apartments. 🎅🏼👍🏻
