Creating Connections of California Creating Connections of California was founded by my mother determined to help her adult special needs son, my brother, get the most out of life.

Our mission here at Creating Connections of California is to bring people aged 16 and older with disabilities together and help them flourish in life through creating new friendships, love connections, and building a second family. Partnered with me, her daughter, we set off on a mission to bring this much needed non-profit organization to their community. When our search began, we quickly discove

red that California didn't have much to offer for people over the age of 18 living with developmental or physical disabilities, who wanted to branch out socially. After working with the local organizations designed to help those in need with career and life sills, we decided to take it one step further. So Creating Connections was born! We want to create a space where aduts with disabilties can do more and find more in life aside from just work or home. Build friendships that last a lifetime, make memories, and maybe even find a love connection. Family and friends are what matter most in this world, and each and every person deserves the chance to have that.
