WHS OLD GRADS MONTHLY MEETING MAY 13, 2026
PLATTE COUNTY LIBRARY MEETING ROOM
Members present for the meeting were Ken Wilcox, Jennifer Wilcox, Sally Bauer-Wright, Sage Bridger, Jim Lockwood, Jo Linda Wiedmeier and Keri Allen
The meeting was called to order by President Sally Bauer-Wright at 5:03 p.m.
The Minutes were read by those present, and a motion was made by Jim Lockwood and seconded by Ken Wilcox to approve the minutes and the motion carried.
The Treasurer’s report was given by Keri Allen: as of this date: the balance in the General Fund is $14,829.47. The balance of the Mixer Fund is $4390.65. Keri also reported that we have 34 registrations for the Luncheon, and 46 for the Mixer. Motion by Sage Bridger and seconded by Ken Wilcox to approve report, motion carried.
Old/New Business:
Scholarship report: Keri Allen reported that Cooper Myer and Ashlyn Streets are the recipients of our Scholarships this year. Cooper will be attending the University of Wyoming and Ashlyn will be attending the University of Utah. Jennifer will get the parent contact information to invite the students and families to the Luncheon.
Nominations of Officers: This is still a work in progress, the committee really needs volunteers for Vice President, Secretary and Roundup lead.
Jennifer suggested the committee print copies of the yearly minutes and Treasurers report to be on the tables at the Luncheon for the attendees to vote on. Motion by Ken and seconded by Jo Linda to approve this, motion carried. Jennifer will print the two-sided handouts.
Sage advised that we have 43 mugs leftover. Sage motioned the committee to sell these at the door of the Mixer for $15.00 each. Keri seconded the motion, motion carried.
Sage advised the committee of the outdoor signs around town that will be displaying the Old Grads functions that weekend.
The committee also revisited the need for sponsorship for the use of the Agriplex, as this is a large expenditure for the committee.
Next meeting: June 10, 2026, at 5:00 pm.
Motion by Jim and seconded by Keri, to adjourn at 6:07 p.m., motion carried.
