Wheat Ridge Art League The Wheat Ridge Art League is a community organization dedicated to the pursuit of fine art. New artists are welcome. No meeting in August or December.

The Wheat Ridge Art League was founded in 1974 to pursue the study of fine art, encourage originality and provide members with the opportunity to obtain public recognition. Members gather monthly to provide support and encouragement to each other. We continue to learn from one another and also from the excellent demonstrations conducted by experienced local artists at each meeting. In addition, th

e League sponsors several workshops each year, also conducted by popular local artists using a variety of mediums. All levels of expertise are represented, from beginners to accomplished painters. Membership Benefits include free demos by renowned artists, participation in official WRAL shows and regular exhibits, newsletter, discounts for workshops, use of our library, and the right to display their works on our Facebook and Instagram pages and the Wheat Ridge Art League Website Member Gallery section, free of charge. If you think you might be interested in joining, you are welcome to come to any meeting and be our guest. WRAL normally meets on the second Tuesday of the month, at the Wheat Ridge United Methodist Church, 7530 W. 38th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Social mixer and art share start at 6:30 pm, business meeting at 7 pm, and live demo at 7:30 pm (USA Mountain Time).

We appreciate YOU! Join us for Patron Appreciation Week as we celebrate the amazing community that makes our facilities, programs, and events so special that makes our facilities, programs, and events so special.

During the week of June 8, each patron who visits the Recreation Center, Active Adult Center, or Anderson Building will receive one raffle ticket at check-in for a chance to win 1 of 5 grand prizes. We will also have a Patron Appreciation Celebration on June 12 at each of our facilities, where you can receive two raffle tickets instead of one and enjoy snacks and light refreshments while supplies last.
