Get excited! Ridgefest is this Saturday, June 6th!

Join us on Saturday, June 6th, 2026, from 2-8 p.m. at The Green at 38th (7101 W 38th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO) for a FREE festival that showcases everything that makes Wheat Ridge an incredible place to be.

At Ridgefest, you can expect live music, food trucks, kids activities, Makers on the Ridge, business vendors, a co****le tournament, and, of course, a selection of local beer, and froze!

No registration is required for this event, and it is free to attend. Dogs are welcome! Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged.

Ride over, enjoy the festivities, and as an extra benefit you can stop by Wheat Ridge Cyclery Ridge Cyclery for a free bike tune up outside their shop during the event! It’s the perfect excuse to cruise over, and support local.

Thanks for joining us at our May Live Local with Personal Achievement Martial Arts! We had a great time hanging out with our neighbors, and learning new martial arts moves. All our guests even got to break a board.

There will not be a Live Local event in June. We hope instead, you will join us at Ridgefest on June 6!

Congratulations to our Civic Spark graduates! 🎉

Over the last 8 weeks, our spring cohort of Civic Spark learned the basics of getting involved in their communities through weekly sessions on everything from effective communication strategies to connecting with elected officials to mapping their networks. Within the cohort, 3 groups formed, creating action plans to address core issues in Jefferson County: early childhood education, affordable housing, and workforce development. We’re so impressed with our incredible cohort and can’t wait to see how their action plans develop as they’re implemented!

We'd also like to extend a huge thank you to our mentors and facilitators in training—the program wouldn’t have been the same without you!

We’ll offer another session of Civic Spark this fall. Stay tuned for more information from Localworks and Jeffco Community Network

This week, we had the opportunity to welcome Congresswoman Brittany Pettersen to Clear Creek Makerspace for a tour of our workshops, to meet some of our makers, and to join a roundtable discussion with Wheat Ridge business owners.

We appreciated the chance to share more about the work happening at CCM and hear thoughtful discussion around the needs of our local business community. Thank you to U.S. Rep Brittany Pettersen for taking the time to visit and connect with our members.
