Work day at the Historic Wharton Texas Cemetery! Cleaned walkways, scrubbed down the cross and pulled weeds, even found a headstone of a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution!

This morning we repaired the flag pole and the flag is now flying again at the Historic Wharton Cemetery. The flag pole is located on the American Legion Plot in honor of all Veterans in the cemetery. God Bless our Veterans!

The Historic Wharton Cemetery Celebrates the 250th!

Due to inclement weather, and the saturation of the ground, the America Legion has determined that flags will be placed around the outside of the cemeteries to remember and honor all Veterans in the cemetery verses a flag on each grave for Memorial Day. The Historic Wharton Cemetery continues to honor and remember our Veterans on Memorial Day! God Bless our Veterans!
